Some of my favorite individuals in the world are my teachers. And I want them to know that I’m grateful for their endurance and affection toward my children. For Meet the Teacher Night a few years ago, my children individually crafted a small present for each of their teachers.

What I love about this idea is that it’s a personalized gift that won’t break the bank. Ticonderoga pencils cost less than $3.00 for a 12-pack at Walmart. And teachers are always grateful for extra school supplies for their students.

If anyone else wanted to do this for their instructors, I’ve included the template I made. Simply right-click on it and select “save image as” to save it to your computer. Make a copy, then have your children color and sign it.
